Mental Health and Wellbeing
At Derby Pride Academy student wellbeing is at the heart of our provision as research has shown that one in ten young people will experience a mental health issue at any one time. We are committed to supporting students with their emotional health as this will enable them to thrive academically.
Our Designated Senior Lead for Mental Health is Dr Alison Bruce, who has successfully completed her senior Mental Health lead training . Should a parent or carer be concerned about a students emotional well-being please contact the academy on 01332 349616 or via email: safeguarding@derbyprideacademy.co.uk
