Attendance 

Being in school and having the best attendance possible underpins all the benefits of school for your child, such as learning, well-being, and wider development. For some children, attending every day will be harder than others. This is why at Derby Pride Academy we are committed to working together with schools, the Local Authority and families to solve problems and support your child’s school attendance. 

At Derby Pride Academy we will look closely with your child’s school to ensure good attendance is a priority and aim to put an attendance plan in place where concerns are highlighted. There is a range of support and interventions that can be put in place for you and your child, so please do not hesitate to contact our attendance team if you are struggling.
