Meet our Chair

Stuart Reece, the CEO of Derventio Education, serves as the Chair of the Local Committee Board at Derby Pride Academy. His journey into this role began in March 2021 when he responded to a local school’s call for assistance, reflecting his commitment to community involvement. By October 2023, Stuart was appointed as the Chair, a testament to the trust and confidence the school community placed in him. His tenure has been marked by proactive engagement, including spearheading initiatives like festive gift-giving to spread holiday cheer among students.

Stuart’s involvement with Derby Pride Academy extended to its transition into the Esteem Multi-Academy Trust in October 2023, demonstrating his dedication to exploring various facets of school administration and processes. This broader perspective enhances his ability to contribute effectively to the development and success of educational institutions.

 

His leadership at Derby Pride Academy exemplifies a strong commitment to community engagement and educational support, aligning with Derventio Education’s ethos of actively participating in local school governance.

 

In his role as CEO of Derventio Education, a company specialising in innovative software solutions and support for schools, colleges, and other educational institutions across the UK. The organisation focuses on improving efficiency and outcomes in education by providing tools that streamline school management, track pupil progress, and support staff development.

 

He is also is a lifelong Derby County fan. His passion for the Rams reflects his strong ties to the local community, and he actively supports initiatives that benefit the region, including his work in education and governance.
